1×2 HDMI Splitter repair

I pulled this 1×2 HDMI Splitter out of the scrap/returns shelf at a local electronic store. The unit did not show any signs of life (no LEDs lit, no function) but the included 5V/1A wall power supply was okay. Within the circuit the 5 volts are regulated down to 3.3 volts by a linear voltage regulator, and the output rail was shorted to ground. It took me a while to determine the two ceramic filters FB1 and FB2 as the culprit. After removal of the two filters the unit is operational again.
